About Randy
Randy Brawley brings an unusual path to screenwriting. Before writing films, he was an Air Force combat pilot, war planner, Pentagon strategist, emergency-management and homeland-security professional, and founder of a disaster-preparedness consulting company. His career has taken him from the offensive side of identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities to the defensive side of understanding risk, protecting people, and preparing for what can go wrong. Those experiences shaped his interest in flawed people under pressure, impossible choices, survival, love, fear, and the ways people respond when the world they understand begins to shift.
His screenplays range from psychological and speculative thrillers to emotionally grounded romance and holiday drama, but they share a common focus: characters forced to confront something they can no longer avoid.
